Did you make the list?

The worst passwords annual list, compiled by SplashData was updated and released in December 2018. It highlights some of the most commonly used and most accessible to guess (and hack) passwords. Some of the more obvious suspects are here, some new as well. Here are the top 50:

You can find the rest of the list here. If you have found one (or more) of your passwords on the list, or even close variations it might be worth considering a change. Having to remember a lot of different passwords can be frustrating and sometimes it feels easier to just stick with one or two. You may even feel like no one is going to be interested in gaining access to your data, or that it won’t happen to you.
